Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026

This app collects no data. There is no account, no cloud, and no tracking. Everything you write stays on your phone.

What we collect

Nothing. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

Notifications

The app can schedule three daily reminders at times you choose. It may also send occasional one-off check-ins if it hasn't seen you for a while — for example, if you have installed the app but not yet begun writing. All of these are created and shown entirely on your device, and no reminder content is ever sent to any server. Both the daily reminders and the occasional check-ins can be switched off in Settings.

Optional app lock

You can choose to require your device's fingerprint, face, or PIN before the app opens, and before your journal can be exported. This uses your device's own authentication: the app simply asks Android whether the owner is present and receives only a yes or no.

Your fingerprint, face, or PIN is never seen, read, or stored by this app, and never leaves your device. When the lock is turned on, the app also hides its contents from the recent-apps preview and prevents screenshots, so your writing isn't visible to anyone glancing at your phone.

Purchases

If you choose to make the one-time purchase to unlock the app, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. The app uses no third-party payment or analytics service. We never receive or store your payment details. Please see Google's privacy policy for how Google processes purchase transactions.

Data you export

The app lets you export your journal as a plain text file and share it using your device's share sheet. That action is started by you, and where the file goes is entirely your choice.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
